Ben Kanute
Ben was introduced to the sport of triathlon at a young age thanks to his father who was an avid age group triathlete. Naturally, Ben fell in love with the sport himself at a young age and climbed the draft legal junior ranks. As a strong swimmer and cyclist, Ben loves to race from the front. Ben was on the 2016 Olympic triathlon team, and has been on the podium at 70.3 World Champs. Ben transitioned to racing his first full distance in 2022, debuting in his first ironman in a blistering time of 7:51. Ben is racing a combination of T100 Pro Tour and the IRONMAN Pro Series.
Ben is a fantastic cook and enjoys taking his followers along for the journey with his popular and highly entertaining “cooking with Kanute” series on social media. He enjoys creating nourishing and delicious meals for his wife and two children, incorporating top notch proteins from GoodLife that are raised without hormones or antibiotics. Ribeye with Gnocchi
- Season your steak, chop your choice of vegetables, and boil your gnocchi.
- Sear your steak in a hot cast iron pan for a few minutes on either side.
- While your steak rest, grill your veggies- use whatever you have laying around in the fridge.
- Plate your cooked gnocchi, grilled veggies, and sliced rib eye. Top with a little pre mixed chimichurri sauce.
